Ich vermute 'mal, gemeint ist

I am assuming that you have Apple Motion correct? But if you want to track faces with no tracking points I would suggest lookup Mocha.

I used Final Cut Pro for like I dunno maybe ten years off and on and I just had to get the new trial version to match the expectations of my OsX 10.8. I just HATE everything about the new design and I feel like they made a lot of changes meant to control and limit my freedom and creativity, and they just made everything more difficult. It's cheaper now, but it seems like a mix of Imovie and FCP, they make it easy for you to do what is expected of you, not anything else. Specifically, issues I am having are that I can't easily import audio for a project, I'm limited in what programs I can use, Itunes seems to be promoted by my program, I can't seem to just drag in an audio file, I hate the new export design, where it wants you to connect up with You Tube or Facebook, with your actual name attached! WTF?? Convenience at the price of loss of privacy seems to be a major trend now and reflect corporate interests controlling every little aspect of our work. Does anyone else feel this way?
If you want to bash, go to creative cow. Over there there is a whole community of bashers. A lot of people will agree with you.
If you want to get help, ask here in this forum. Once you learn how to do things with FCPX you might actually like it. Most of the people here in this forum like FCPX and use it by choice.
And no it does not limit your freedom or creativity. These are limited by no one else but you. It is just a tool. It might work differently to what you are used to, but this does not make it better or worse.
If you don´t like it, use something else. Very good alternatives out there!
Funny how almost none of the FCPX-likers are inclined to bashing other NLEs.
Why you say that Creative Cow has a good balance of users. The difference is that the comments can be backed up.

If you are in Berlin I recommend this place...

ps the workflow in the above video is perhaps not all that far removed from post production
pps that is an interesting point with respect to AE
Yup thats how the beer is made over here.
Man Beer festivals are like all year in Bavaria!
The funny thing is I don't even drink beer.
Bamberg is a kick @$$ town to party.

Scrubelicious replied to the topic 'Steadicam or FCP stabilization?' in the forum.Hardware Stabilizer! like Glidecam or Steadycam you should find cheaper solution that might fit your needs.
The Final Cut Pro X stabilization is only good for footage that has minimum motion blur.

Scrubelicious replied to the topic 'Help getting rid of old habits...' in the forum.Yes you can by replacing the clip in the timeline with the following:
Select the clip in the timeline and then go to File - Relink Project Files
[File Attachment: ScreenShot2013-04-10at8.53.41.png]
What has happened to me before Disclaimer you try this on your own risk! a file got corrupted when moving a complete Project and Event to another workstation. All I did was deleted the bad file. Which made all the edits in the project offline. Reimported the clip and it relinked all the clips in the project.
Clip has to be in the same name and time.

But your right you can do allot with Motion with 3rd party support where the others well you don't and that confirms my point. There hasn't been any real enhancement in Motion!

Scrubelicious replied to the topic 'Resolve Lite now on the Mac App Store' in the forum.BenB wrote:I'm at NAB Show, have played with both Production Camera and Pocket Camera. Red killers. Both come with full version of Resolve.Hard to say if they are a RED Killer... interesting how many are biased against RED the company that really made it happen... if they can't deliver.
Not to mention Resolve 10 (release Q3 2013) has the FCPX Inspector window, FCPX looking multi-track audio, brings lover filters (yes, reads plugins now), can read projects from different NLEs to finish & assemble into one output, gradient window, so much more, will be a huge game changer. Now each editor can work in their preferred NLE and the finisher using Resolve doesn't have to care..
I'm posting details on my NAB Show journal.

Tell me more about Playmobil. Very interesting especially they are right around the corner from me.
To the Adobe anywhere. I was hopping Final Cut Pro would have something like this already. Still waiting... maybe after they get done with there second data complex?
They are promoting the mercury engine in the video above, but that shouldn't have nothing todo with the network side of the house. I like to see real life demo and see the specs... what network for what speed.
But Adobe anywhere could be a good reason to jump... if they didn't have there software cloud program!
