Name replied to the topic '60D Multicam in FCPX with Content Created Feature?' in the forum.Yes, that's the idea. Although you wouldn't sync with the 'Timecode' option, you would do it with the 'Content Created' option. That is exactly what I am trying to do with a T2i and 60D footage of a wedding I shot. The T2i footage with the metadata from the THM files syncs up nicely, but the 60D footage is off. In fact, your clocks don't have to be the same. For example, you can have a different date, different time on each camera, and fcpx will still sync up the clips according to each individual date and time, then you can sync the 60D timeline with the T2i timeline which is muuuuuuuch easier than doing it on a clip-by-clip basis. Could you please try this with your T2i and 60D? I would greatly appreciate it!

Name replied to the topic '60D Multicam in FCPX with Content Created Feature?' in the forum.I did not know that, I will check the 60D, manually set time, record some clips, import to FCPX, and try syncing a mutlicam clip with content created. Then I'll get back to you and let you know what happened. Thank you so much for your time and answers!

Name created a new topic ' 60D Multicam in FCPX with Content Created Feature?' in the forum.Has anyone ever worked on a multicam sequence in FCPX using 60d MOV files? I'm trying to sync 2 cameras, a T2i and the 60D using the 'content created' feature, but it's not working with the 60D files. Anyone know how to fix this? I understand that the T2i files come with the THM meta file for each MOV file, but from what I've read, the 60D has the meta integrated in the MOV file (and also in the CTG file???). Anybody know a work around? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! THANKS!

Name replied to the topic Re: 5 camera multicam edit 1 or 2 cameras go black. HELP PLEASE! in the forums. No, it's not that there is no source footage. In fact It was working fine for awhile and I made some edits switching between camera angles, but then one angle just went black and I don't know why. All the clips from that angle in the edit I had just finished also went black. I'm starting to convince myself that it's a bug...

Name created a new topic 5 camera multicam edit 1 or 2 cameras go black. HELP PLEASE! in the forums.I'm editing a multicam concert that's about 1:30 hrs long with about 5 different camera angles. 1 mp4 video, 3 canon T2i's, and 1 panasonic MTS I converted to prores. I transcoded all angles to proxy media for faster editing. I managed to get them all synced up, but when I start editing the multicam clip, all of a sudden one camera will go black and I can't see it in the viewer. Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong, or is it a bug? Can I do something to fix this?
Thanks!
