Andy McDandy created a new topic ' Compressor Problems' in the forum.I've recently been coming across some problems with my compressions.
First of all it was a couple days ago when I tried to compress a 3 min video (1080i - 29.97i - 1440x1080) it toke around an hour to finally finish but when it was done I got a "Failed" underneath the progress bar, I didn't know why so I just burned the video straight from FCPX to a DvD.
The next day I tried to compress a 45 min video and got the same problem, (1080i - 29.97i - 1440x1080) I used the default Disc Burning DolbyDP and MPEG 2 options but it still failed, I also sent the project straight from FCPX to compressor, I didn't export it from FCPX than send to Compressor.
Today however I tried compressing a 30 second video to test after I deleted the cache by going to Finder > Go > Go to Folder > /var/spool/qmaster/ > and then I sent the file there to the trash and restarted my computer. My first try resulted in the timer to keep increasing and never decrease, and second try the timer said at -:--:-- remaining, it never moved.
If you can help me out at all it would be much appreciated, thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me out, this is the first time I've come across these problems.

Andy McDandy created a new topic ' Compressor Failed' in the forum.Hi, I've recently tried to compressor projects to fit onto DvDs, my first was a 3 min video that toke around an hour to compressor, once it was all done instead of getting what I'm used to seeing (Successful) I notice the compression said "Failed" I didn't understand why but I let it go and burned the video straight from FCPX to a DvD. A couple days after I had a hour long video that I needed to compress to also fit on a DvD, by using DVDSP and creating and menu for the DvD then burning it from there but again I came across the same problem, my compression said that it Failed. I don't know why so any help would be great. My footage is HD 1080i 29.97i 1440x1080. I am sending the project straight from FCPX to compressor to compress.

Andy McDandy created a new topic ' DVD Studio Pro HD trouble' in the forum.Hello, I recently created a slideshow using FCPX. After completing the project I rendered and exported it out as a 1280x720 file. I then toke that file and dropped it onto Compressor and applied the default Dolby Digital and MPEG-2 formats provided by Compressor under the "Disc Burning" tab. After that was done I toke the compressed files and dragged them onto DVD SP. I first however went into the DVD SP preferences, changed DVD Standard into HD DVD under the Project Tab, then in General tab I changed the Resolution to 1280x720p 16:9 Display. After that I builded the DVD and Formatted it. But, when the burning was done and I tried testing it on my DVD Player it would say -This disc cannot be played. -Please check disc. Can anyone help me out?
