On my iPad, I stay logged in.

On my Mac in Safari, I have to log in on every visit.

Does anyone know how to stay logged in on my Mac?

I have the same problem. I can stay logged in on both my iPad and iPhone but not my iMac with Safari.

I used to have to log in every visit (iMac s/safari). Without doing anything (that I remember, at least) I now stay logged in. So it is possible, somehow, to stay logged in when using a Mac. Alas, I can't tell you how.

Any news on whether this will be fixed?

As I'm staying on the oldest version of MacOS that FCPX allows, I'm still using Safari 5.1.7.

I imagine I'll have to upgrade to a newer version of Safari when the next major version of Final Cut comes out. Do MacOS 10.7 and newer also have to log in every time they visit?

Yeah I've got the same problem. It's like the page automatically logs you out if there's not activity or something. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Same issue here though I use Firefox (people actually use Safari? Crazy!) Anyway the issue seems browser agnostic.

Being logged out every time makes me want to visit these forums much less. I wonder if the admins even read this section. Their silence is deafening.

I have the same issue. I emailed info about that and some other stuff to Peter - some of my other issues have been fixed so I'm thinking/hoping this is being worked on.

Same. I use Safari (without feeling the need to explain why).

I can't stay logged in on my iPad!

In Safari on the MacBook Pro I have to log in every time but at least it remembers the login info so I don't have to type it everytime like I have to on the iPad.

I mainly use my iPad to read/post on forums. This has lead to that I often don't visit this Forum cause it's a pain to type the username/password every time...

I thought the problem is on my end ;-)

Would be great if the Admin could look into that ...

Thanks

Well since this thread got revived.
For security reasons, I prefer sites that will automatically time out log ins if no activity.
Almost all password managers will log you in with just one click, no need to type in user name and password. So many other benefits, highly recommend using a password manager. Unique passwords for every site.
I use LastPass, good for both macOS and iOS. Free version or premium.

Hope this helps, Greg

I just had to log in to post this (pun intended) I believe that Peter said it was for security issues with the site.

I guess the button "remember me" / proxy doesn't work properly. username&pw are automatically filled by safari/pw manager but okay.
