ROUND TRIP WITH DA VINCI RESOLVE 18 Dec 2016 01:21 #84074

When I do round trip editing with Da Vinci Resolve, it opens in FCPX with the clips too bright in luminance. All other effects transfer ok, but not the luminance. I have followed instructions on rendering in DVR. Has anyone else had this problem, and has anyone found a solution? Thanks.

Did you use the FCPX color board in your original timeline?
In some instances thec olor corrections will still be applied to the new timeline when returning from Resolve via XML. Just disable them in the inspector.

Thanks. The problem occurs even when the item originates in DVR, not in FCPX.

What exactly do you mean by " too bright in luminance"
Do you export from Resolve with data or video levels?
Perhaps you can share the waveform of the same frame in Resolve and in FCPX...
