Searched around, but didn't find anything on shine, glare, etc. I'm trying to reduce shiny skin on a subject that has oily/sweaty skin. There was no makeup artists and we had to turn the AC off, and the latent's face looks a bit too shiny. I tried fixing it with a grade, but there must be another way to powder his skin somehow?
I'm running FCPX 10.3.4 and unfortunately, used Color Finale Pro to grade, which has ben crashing and chugging my brand new iMac. I've tried everything with color finale.
I tried Pixel Film Studios Pro Skin 2.0 but couldn't figure out how to use it.
Thanks. I just tried ProSkin 2.0 and figured out that you have to toggle the "isolate skin" check box off and on to see your results and get rid of the mask. It made enough of a difference I think I can use it. I am so done with Color Finale though. Going to stick to Resolve. I tried it once and the tracking was amazing. Just wasn't sure about the export in and out. Gonna have to learn though. It's sooooo much faster. C have the latest maxed out iMac and Color Finale has completely killed it. As soon as I have even one grade in, the whole timeline slows down and it muddies up everything. I thought my video card was screwed and called FCP support, and they said they have a ton of issues with people calling in Color Finale related issues at the moment. That and from what I read 10.3.4 has some issues as well. Hope they are both fixed soon.
