Wow, I've got a new issue I've never seen before. I have two identical workstation using shared storage. One of the machines quits Final Cut every time I try to open the preferences pane. I have tried restarting the machine several times, closing the current library and trying a different library. It happens in both libraries. I've opened up the same library on the other machine and no issues. Can I clear some sort of cached memory for FCPX to see if that will help?

Any thought?

Running 10.3.4 on Sierra 10.12.6 on Identical 2013 mac pros
dual d700

Try holding Option-Command as you launch the application to reset the preferences.

That worked the first time. It crashed the second time I opened the preferences pane. I'll try a restart again and see if that helps. Thanks Tom,
