So I never did this much, but have need of it on a current production. I see that the latest FCPX on the latest macOS won't let you open clips from the Browser into their own timeline any longer. What the...? Am I missing something here? Why on earth would you take that ability away?

They took it out of the shortcut menu. Replaced it with open in project or some such. Open Clip is still in the Clip menu.

Well that's pretty inconvenient... ugh... at least I can map my own keyboard command to it...
