Perhaps I'm one of the very few Boris Continuum users but the FCPX version of BCC11 is NOT Mojave compatible as per their website.

Many crashes with beachball in FCPX using FilmConvert plugin due probably to : no CUDA driver Nvidia available for Mojave...

I contacted Boris and they are aware. I assume they are either working on a fix or optimizing the next version of Continuum for Mojave

As did I. They couldn't give me an estimated date though. Understandable as these things go. I called because sometimes changes Apple makes facilitates fixes and 10.14.1 was just released.

Other Mac Boris products seem to be unaffected so it's just those of us in the FCPX "ghetto"

FCP doesn't seem to work on Mojave-- I updated my MacBook software from OS X 10.9.5, and now the application won't open nor update. Sometimes* a pop up window suggests downloading the "newest version", but in the App Store, there isn't a version newer than what I apparently already have...the only option listed is "Open", but very clearly that isn't going to happen...
Has anyone else gotten Final Cut to open on Mojave? If so, HOW? Where can I download whatever version is compatible with this new software? (I have checked the Apple App Store, the Apple Website and browsed Google ceaselessly)

Hi Rachel.

With "FCP", do you mean FCP X or the old Final Cut Pro?

nvidia Geforce GT 750M graphic card is not compatible with Mojave, confirmed by apple support. Three months later after its release Nvidia does not seem very interested in giving us a driver. So stay in High Sierra or buy a new macbook. :(

I have that GPU and compared to POS that was High Sierra, Mojave is night and day in comparison, maybe one day the GPU will work properly but honestly cannot say I have seen any negative trade-off since upgrading.

Hey Chris, thanks for the info, I have exactly the same configuration, but on system preferences I have CUDA and Nvidia driver configuration options:

You don't have them?

Maybe I should try uninstalling them

I am grading a feature documentary using FCPX and, so far, the plugins Neat Video, Cinema Grade, Color Finale, Lawn Road. The project moves seamlessly on an external drive from my iMac Pro using High Sierra to my 13" Macbook Pro on High Sierra to the new 15" Macbook Pro using Mojave. I am sure I will be using other plugins and Motion eventually but I thought some might appreciate the report.

Hi first time poster her. Currently running Final Cut Pro X 10.4.6 on Mojave 10.14.4 and getting many beach balls with the audio skipping. This could take upto a minute to rectify but then the same problem will happen. Editing 4K content but the same thing happens whether using the original media or proxy media.

Running the 2018 Macbook Pro i9, 32GB RAM, Vega 20 and SSD drive.
