I have some 360 footage and we will like to use. in a standard Project, but in a way where it looks normal not spherical.
How would we go by this?

Import the footage as you normally would. If the project is set to be normal projection and the 360 media is recognized correctly it should map correctly.

If the 360 media is not recognized correctly, select it and in its info pane in the inspector, set its Projection Mode to Equirectangular (if your 360 media is mapped differently you may need to convert it to equirectangular first).

You should then see that the 360 media appears normal and you can use the Orientation parameters to frame what ever you want in the 360 Media.
