How would you do a slide in bendy picture in picture trick animation thing? 23 Jul 2019 12:04 #100541

Hey

I saw this vid the other day where a man was talking about his website.

When he refered to it he was pulling up footage of the website - obviously via Quck time Record.

But it sort of folded into the screen all nice rather than just pop up - and it sort of moved around when he pointed things out..

Clearly this is a plug in - ? Surely he wouldnt animated keyframes and bending of the image himself, is it some form of bendy fall in transistion? It looked very professional not like a transition.

I see it alot on explainer videos and sometimes they put the website video capture inside the explainer and it looks super good.

You seen this?

Many of us who do video tutorials and software training video use ScreenFlow. It's an app that does screen capture in a very special way and has editing tools made specifically for this task.

Interesting and thank you - I will give that a glance - I am assuming you do the animation parts in Screen flow and bounce it out as a single image entity. By all means link me to any of your explainer work :)

Some of your description of what you want to duplicate is unclear. Can you provide an example?

As for your question, not sure what you mean by "animation parts."

Okay so kinda like this but not so s*** :)

I can record some screen of a website then throw it in like this - the example I saw made it look much more professional it may have even split screened the main shot and or bent inwards it looked slick.

I mean this is better than me plonking it in as I have done before. - and screencast programme can add some navigation and highlights.

But mtuber2 is also worth a look as that is slick as from motionvfx - but noting thier plug in causing me to loose an entire day has kind of put me off buying things on a whim before I see if they work or if they do what I need!!! Hence my other post!

That can be manually created quite easily, or there's the plugin route. I know MotionVFX has a few like that, I know CrumplPop has something like that, PremiumVFX, industrial revolution, SVM, and others. You just need to shop around.
