Rendering Mater File Freezes at 17% Stays Stuck for hours. 16 Nov 2019 14:32 #102676

I an producing a :28:30 project Master File at H.264 and it keeps getting stuck at 17%. I read a previous post that said to try producing it as ProRes 422, got stuck at 17% as well. Changed the music track that could have been the issue, still gets stuck at 17%. Restarted the program several times and watched the video clips closely but can't find a glitch anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!

1- Go to Preferences and turn OFF the Background Rendering option, then NEVER turn it on EVER again.
2- Select the Library in the Browser pane, go to the File menu, to Delete Generated Library Files.
3- Delete ALL render files.
Try again...

That issue is textbook corrupted render file.

When this type of thing has happened to me it generally ends up being 1 corrupt clip (or a weird codec clip). The way I've found it is by exporting ranges. Start with the first half, if that works try the second half, whichever one fails break it in half, etc.. This way you can troubleshoot the offending clip (if that's the problem of course). If small ranges also fail then you probably have a bigger issue. Good luck!
