I'm currently working on a wedding video on fcpx 10.4 and am trying to apply LUTs on my clips. Once I've applied the custom LUT, the clip looks fine until I render the clips. Once rendered, a small flickering square on the top left portion of the video flickers back from the non color graded clip to the color graded clip. It's only happens in the right upper quadrant of the clip. It happens to some clips and some render just fine. Can anyone help me out with this, or has experienced this issue? I've also used the original mLUT lots provided for free and they still have the same issue, so it can't be the custom LUTs I downloaded.
I've attached an example of a frame of a clip. Top left portion flickers in and out of the LUT.
Not sure what this has to do with mInstaller, unless you are referring to a product from MotionVFX that has the issue. If that's the case, mInstaller is the UI that permits installation, repair and licensing management of the plugin. You might try repairing or reinstalling it. If it's not a MotionVFX LUT using mLUT, then check with the manufacturer to see if you have the latest version of the plugin. For more assistance, provide the computer specs, codecs of the footage, OS version and FCPX version and specific LUTS you are dealing with. There is also no screen shot attached to your post,
