Hi ulven,

… hit accidentally hit the wrong button -poof! SORRY!
(asked our host Peter to repair that)

meanwhile … to answer your question:

Step #1
build the design

face1.jpg

what I've done here, put your 'template' into the canvas to have a reference …
using Motions Title template, all it needs is the 'face' and the bar.

Step #2
add a Mask

face2.jpg

to unveil anything, masks are handy - so, the bar gets a rectangle mask

Step #3
build animation

face3.jpg

now, then starts: hit the red record button and put anything in place. I recommend doing it backwards, so, the last keyframe is the actual layout; then I move the playhead backwards, for example the face to its far right position.
when done un-check/hit rec again.....

Step #4
publish

Save your new lower 3rd … check in FCPX

hmm, me a grumpy ol' man - left out a few minor but probably important steps . :woohoo:
… but basically it's that easy …
And there are probably more … elegant ways to accomplish your task, align-to behaviour, nil-objects etc etc. But for a start, Masks are the way to go.-

And again, apologises for nixing your Original Post … those knobs are sooo tiny and sooo close <grml>
