I’ve rebuilt my Colour grading suite, so that it works in harmony with what Apple’s new colour grading tools. I’ve also done a bit of simplification, throwing out what hasn’t worked well for me.
The tools include a 3-way colour corrector with wheels (that works the way you'd expect in Rec 709, using a shadows/midtones/highlights model, unlike the Apple 10.4 Colour Wheels), a relight tool, hue/saturation adjustment, digital foundation for cleaning skin tones with digital makeup, sharpening, and vignetting.
The theme of the new update is simplicity. I tried to pare down to the essentials, but still leaving what I find most useful.
