We’re looking for an assistant FCPX editor for a Boston area game show. Starts February 2016. $200/ day. If you are looking to work on a broadcast show, are motivated, highly organized, able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentially, able to meet deadlines, efficient, a lover of workflows, and a good communicator (can communicate your progress in a timely manner and not afraid to tell us when you are bottlenecking) we’d love to have you on board.
Technical job requirements:
Must have 2 years experience editing and at least 1 year of experience using FCPX
Create and troubleshoot multicam creation
Edit with mulicam clips
Things we’d expect you to learn on your own (if you don’t already now how), but will offer support and guidance on:
Proxy media and remote workflows
Ability to process and troubleshoot Lumberjack xml files into FCPX
Sharing projects (sequences) between editors
If you prove to be efficient and a competent editor we will give you the chance to get hands on experience editing the shows.
