Final Cut Pro has never been good at slow motion. The introduction of FCPX has now brought Optical Flow retiming within the app -so what does video at 1% of original speed look like?
Emmanuel Duclos kindly sent us this video that he made using FCPX to slow Canon 7D footage down to 1%. He admits it's far too slow, but it gives you an idea of what is possible without using plugins like Twixtor. We have seen this done before using Motion4, but this is the first real life example we've seen for FCPX.
Thank you Manu for the experimentation, we are sure this is going to be a very popular effect.
