We have seen it demoed, but today is the official release date for the updated plugin SliceX, the bezier masking tool for FCPX that now features Mocha tracking. We also have 3 copies to giveaway to lucky FCP.co readers!
Any FCPX editor cannot fail to be impressed by Coremelt's SliceX, it has come a long way in a short period of time. In response to customer requests, Coremelt added editable control points and now they've added Mocha tracking which adds a whole new level of operational ease to the plugin.
We saw the plugin demoed first hand at NAB this year and Roger Bolton has very kindly kept our Forum readers up to date with its development progress and prospective launch date, which happens to be today!
Pricing for the plugin is now at the recommended price of $149, if you have an existing licence then it's $79 to upgrade from SliceX to SliceX Powered by Mocha.
Coremelt have produced this new demo video showing SliceX powered by Mocha in action.
Who have each won themselves a copy of SliceX powered by Mocha
The competition is now closed.
Roger has also very kindly given us 3 copies of SliceX powered by Mocha for FCPX to give away. To have a chance of winning one of the 3 licences each worth $149.99, all you have to do is tweet the title of this story and include @FCPdotCo in the tweet. The easiest way to do this is from the tweet button on the top left of the article. The winners will be picked at random from the tweets from now until Friday evening, so get tweeting!
At the recent NAB Show in Las Vegas last month, we caught up with Roger from Coremelt who gave us a demo on the show floor of SliceX with the new tracking features.
