Time to catch up with this week's tutorials from Ripple. The first looks at 3D text tips and includes one pretty awesome piece of information you won't want to miss. The second looks at the RGB parade scopes in Resolve.

In this week's episode of MacBreak Studio, Mark Spencer shows Steve Martin some very cool tips when using 3D text in Final Cut Pro X. Make sure you watch right through to the end to get one awesome tip about retiming titles by wrapping them in a compound clip. Very clever and very useful.

If you would like to learn more about 3D titles in Motion, take a look at Mark's new 3D text Motion tutorial on the Ripple Training website.

The second tutorial is from Alexis van Hurkman and shows how to match shots in DaVinci Resolve using the RGB parade scopes. Of course there is a similar scope in FCPX, so the techniques in the video can be applied over if you don't use Resolve. No curves though!

If you would like to know more about Resolve, make sure you check out Alexis' impressive range of tutorials.
