This week on MacBreak Studio the guys look at building 3D text in Final Cut Pro X that you can fly through.

A quiet week in the FCPX world, but we have to thank the MacBreak Studio guys for cranking out the tutorials to keep us going! 3D text is again the subject and this time we look at a cool effect that looks like the camera is flying through 3D text suspended in space.

Mark Spencer shows Steve Martin how to construct the effect directly in FCPX by animating the title in the video animation tabs in the timeline. The text isn't tracking, but with some careful tweaks, the text can be made to look like it is actually in the scene.

If you would like to know more about the 3D text capabilities in FCPX, make sure you check out Steve's tutorial on FCPX 10.2
