So where is the deinterlace filter in Final Cut Pro X? A question asked by many including ourselves. FXMahoney has come up with a rather neat FCPX deinterlace tip.
It could be the most used effect in FCP7, the deinterlace filter doubles up a field to give that instant temporal film look. It also halves the resolution, but clients just love anything that doesn't make their video look like video.
So where is the filter in FCPX? We can't find it. Luckily, FxMahoney has come up with a neat trick for deinterlacing footage without having to roll your own filter in Motion. Make sure you check out his free FCPX & Motion templates & effects on our forum.
One thought though, can these parameters be copied between clips??
