What's been other editors' reactions when you show them what it can do? Are people still sniffy about it in your circles?
Not much sniffyness where I work. People can see it's benefits. I still get funny looks from directors and producers when I first mention it. But these negative expectations soon evaporate as they see it in use.
All the information the un-initatiated have is heresy and negative opinions from people who don't use it. So I under stand why people have the 'fcpx frown' initially. As far as I know there aren't many people in London, using it for high end music videos and commercials.
It feels like an positive exposure problem now. Once people see it being used with optimism, to create great things, they get it.
