Okay so I recorded a butchering session with 3 cameras and my iPhone. The lighting isn't exactly what I wanted but I did get to experiment with some more of the FCPx features as well as simply getting used to some precise editing.
This is a Youtube cooking channel I have had as a hobby for a couple years, but am now looking to try and make it a regular thingy.
The insertion titles were simply done on Keynote pages and then I imported each individual page as a .png using Skitch. I reverted to this because my Title/Inspection feature is not working at all on FCPx (crashes every time, but another issue).
I used music and sound effects from Freesound.org. Let me know what you think about the 1-) Value of the message, and 2-) entertainment value as Youtube video.
Thanks.

Import failed (again)Let me try to explain as detailed as I can the error I am receiving. Here's my workflow:

I am editing a feature documentary, shot with 5d Mark...
SliceXIf I might make one minor suggestion. It appears that neither your download dmg nor the actual installer have version numbers. Since you are issuing updates, it might be helpful for your followers to be able to differentiate between the releases. This can...
Canon C100 import? Thanks, I'll have to look into that for sure. Seems to me, the few times I imported directly from FCPX, the footage was in a bin as an unrecognized file. I guess FCPX recognizes it, but you couldnt play it from the finder, or open in any other program. ...
