Does anyone know of a stopwatch type of plug-in for FCPX?
I have the need to place lap times for a certain car on videos and I'm not sure how I'd do it in FCPX. I'd rather not use a TC generator, unless that is the best or only solution.

So no one knows of a solution to adding a stopwatch-like timer to video clips in FCPX... I'd even take a Motion 5 solution. Anybody?

Exactly what are you looking for? What would it look like? What specs?

I have a race I'm editing and I'd like to add lap times pip on the screen.
I'd like to be able to do each lap separately, not just the race as a whole

That's a pretty generalized description. You want an actual stop "watch" with hands, you want simple digits, to how many decimals, how big, how many lap fields, etc?

Digital, to the tenth or hundredth of a second would be good.
Lap fields would be a bonus, but I'm not expecting that.
Do you know of something that would do any of these?
I guess I'm looking for the timer to start at zero, count up and allow me to hold on the last frame when I decide to stop it.
I suppose I'd add another one for the next lap and so on.
