Hi all,

I was just curious if anyone knew of any plugins or techniques to help reduce shininess from sweaty skin. On a video I am working on there is some very slight shine that I'd like to remove if possible. Thanks!

Hmm; toy doesn't seem to work properly if you are also doing chroma key; which unfortunately I am, lol.

Try nesting your key group as a compound clip and then apply the filter to that.

Cosmo, part of the Magic Bullet Looks plug in, is a great all-around skin smoother/helper. It may do the trick for you here.

I did that in After Effects. Reduced the exposure and brought the brightness back up. Haven't tried the same thing in FCP though

Oh. I forgot to say I also used replace color (to get the highlight as close to the normal screen tone color as possible) along with the exposure adjustment in AE

Thanks for the input everyone; still have a bit of sweat lingering though. Very thankful for the helpful advice! Here's the video (sweat was in the beginning with the hot lights! ;) )
