Hello all,

I just did a 2 cam shoot for a Powerpoint presentation, I did my multi cam editing so the video is set. I exported the PPT as a movie and also the slides as photos. I imported them into FCPX fine. My issue: is there any way to keep the build ins and build outs in tacked after I import them into FCPX? As a QT movie the builds work. but when I have them in the events and timeline the builds seem to go away and it goes from slide to slide. I have over 60 slides with multiple builds on each slide...it will be very time consuming to tweak all the graphics individually. Is there and easier work around? ( i also have keynote and motion)

thanks for being geniuses
Kasey

I suggest you open the PPT in Keynote and Export as a QuickTime movie

Playback Uses: Fixed Timing
Formats: Custom... [Set to match your project frame size, Settings... button to choose project frame rate and compressor - eg 29.97 fps, ProRes LT]

the fixed timing was the key...I love keynote (no pun intended) I have done a few other work arounds through that app. thank you very much...that will shave off a ton of hours.

Kasey :woohoo:
