I came across this blog article from T Payton : Handbrake and FCPX

I like saving a master in Prores but also keeping an H264 copy around...
You can use this script to automate this process it does a great job. I simply use a prores setting in FCPX instead.

Hello!
I read Payton's blogpost when released and made an improvement based on his idea. The most important differences is that this new version:

- Uses HandbrakeCLI instead of Handbrake.
- Allows the OS to create the render queue instead of the app.
- Creates renders with the same name in the same path as the source (no user action needed).
- Can be used as a macOS Service.
