Hi,
Yesterday my laptop updated automatically to the latest Catalina Beta (yeah I know I am not supposed to use betas..) and after that Final Cut Pro won't start anymore.. It actually starts but shuts down after a few seconds. If I keep clicking anywhere it stays open, as soon as I stop clicking it shuts down. iMovie won't start either.. any other sw works. Maybe it is something related to the graphic card drivers?
Anyway, would really appreciate anybody who can come up with a solution..

Marco

The latest Catalina build is known to crash FCPX. Next update should fix that, hopefully. The dangers of using beta's of an OS.

Can you be more explicit?
My restore from a Catalina Beta 7 backup error-ed out and now I'm a bit gun shy.
Did you grab a backup from *before* Catalina came out?

Not sure I understand what you are asking, what I did I formatted the hd and reinstalled Mojave from zero, then reimported all docs and settings and apps from a time machine backup..
