I imagine we will see more of this. Switch from Final Cut Pro or Avid and get 50% off Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 or Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium.

Despite this kind offer from Adobe, UK users will need to pay £226 + VAT more than US users, plus an extra £10 for the downloadable version over the 'disk and paper' set.

Furthermore, AFAIK, there's no CUDA support for MacBook Pro based editors.
