I'm importing a bunch of prores files which are on a folder on my desktop. I'm not copying them into the events folder, I am making proxies.

When I import the files they come in as missing proxies.

What's causing this?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Sorry - Senior Moment! FCPX is still generating the proxies...
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Make sure you switch playback prefs to proxies
The administrator has disabled public write access.
