greetings Final Cut Pro users! :woohoo:

I might found a nasty bug in Final Cut Pro X or it found me.
The dates of all the clips that where in the Event changed to some random date for example 15 March 2012 to 1 January 2013!
Restarting FInal Cut Pro X did not change the dates back. Any tips would be cool.

Good thing is it's a personal Event nothing from a client.

Haven't had this error but a word of warning if you decide to use the new feature that allows you to change the date of media already imported. Doing so can sometimes unlink the footage from your project. Especially if you modified the clips in the timeline.

For example. I had a clip that I broke apart in an edit and used it's audio somewhere else by it's self. After modifying the date there was nothing I could do to get it to relink. The only solution to fix it was to restore the Event from the back up. Whew!

Since you mentioned this, this is what happened I change the date to the correct date of a clip that was transcoded outside Final Cut Pro... and... boom it change all the clips in the same Event to some random Date in ahead of its original.
