Working with a multilayered PSD file that's sitting in a 1920/1080 25fps Project but when I open it up to animate it I notice that it's running at 60fps.

Is there any way of changing this? Does it matter?

Can't change it. It doesn't matter as far as I can see.

Thanks Tom. In the end I just created a new Compound Clip with the settings I wanted and cut and pasted the PS layers in there. Just to make sure.

Since a graphic file is only a single frame, it has no possible way to have a frame "rate" of it's own. Thus the FPS is assigned when it's duplicated to become several frames of a video clip by the Timeline you've dropped it in. That FPS data in the Info pane I have found it not very accurate. With graphics and photos, ignore it, you're getting what the Timeline is.

What's annoying is that I wanted half second transitions so had to type in +30 to get there as even though it was sitting in a 25FPS Timeline the Compound Clip was convinced it was working in 60FPS.

Anyway the solution was simple enough.
