I am working a project with a lot of stills in FCP X 10.0.4 and I have a constant problem with the inspector that dosen't update, let me explain better I have STILL 1 in storyline and open inspector and reference to STILL 1, then I go to STILL 2 and the inspector is still telling me that it is STILL 1, It dosent update, I have to constantly shut down FCP X and restart and It refresh. I have delete preference with digital rebellion preference manager but still happen like every 5 to 10 minut in to the project. It is a pain in the

I hope nobody else have this problem.

I've not seen this issue. You are highlighting the new still, so it lights up in yellow, correct?

Can you give us your hardware and drive specs?
What OS version?

Depending on how many effects, what type of effects, grading, etc. you have applied to the clip in question, it may take a couple of seconds or more to update in the inspector when clicked on. I have seen this occur from time to time with heavily layered clips. Not sure if this is an FCPX bug or just the apps demand for more horsepower at that moment. I am looking into this to determine exactly how I need to phrase any feedback to Apple.

The next time that happens, do nothing for 30 seconds and see if the inspector updates.
