I have FxFactory install, if I delete any of the plugin from the root in the User/Motion Templates/Effects directory would that have an effect on the workings of the rest of the plugins in FxFactory. There are just loads of plugins that I will never use and want a cleaner effects browser experience.

You can enable and disable them from inside the FXfactory app.

But FYI...if you deleted the plugins manually in the users/movies/motion templates/effects folder you would be affecting only those particular plugins and nothing else. But, best to enable/disable from within FXFactory.
