FCP X & Motion Creating New "Motion Templates" Folder I played around in Motion last night after I got your Text in Video plug in. After reading this I checked my motion templates folder. Mine only shows one.

ProRes Banding in Quicktime Player - Not in Motion or FCPX Right. Those are applications designed for production. I believe AE does it as well, 32-bit float internally, but doesn't display it, which is probably the way it should be.

Compound Clip not relinking files That's just it. The day I posted this I was able to get the compound clips to show in the event browser and they are fully functional in the timeline in every way. It's now just the rest of the regular clips in the timeline that are red missing....but...in...

Tilder key for moving clips Correct. I found I didn't have the new Colour Correction hot keys so I just added them to my custom set. I prefer this to The update just wiping out custom key commands I might have set before.

Recommended MPEG Streamclip settings for export to FCPX-friendly format? If you want to maintain best quality, go with ProRes 422. H.264 or any other highly compressed Long GOP codec will show generational degradation quickly.
