If you want something like the little Dinosaur you would need some help from a 3D Application.

It's basically getting your hands on good graphics (Motion 5), some keyframing, and good music. There's nothing to really teach specific to an "intro". And, it's something I'd do in Motion, not in FCP X. Learn Motion, use your imagination, it's literally that simple, honestly.

When I first started using Apple Motion 5, a friend suggested these video tutorials from Ripple Training.

Hope it helps you get started in the right direction.

And, for more in depth training, the book "Apple Pro Training Series: Motion 5" would be good to do after the Ripple Training. It's what we use as the text for the Apple Authorized Training course. Both Ripple and APTS are authored by the same person.
