As much as it pains me to say this, I think I preferred this to the Ripple Training package. Ripple goes into a lot of detail later on, but if you need to start cutting quickly, this got to the skinny quicker.

It's a very nice tutorial. I am sort of changing my mind about FCPX. However it's still a no-go for me, since the new FCPX doesn't support Canon XF codec.
