Since it came up, just some trivia here about Delete keys. Most of you probably know this stuff:
On an Apple keyboard, there are 2 "Delete" keys. One is what used to be called a Backspace key, on the regular keyboard. The other is the hard delete key in the navigation keys of a full sized keyboard. These navigation keys sit between the alpha/numeric keyboard and the numeric keyboard.
The two function differently. The Delete key in the alpha/numeric section of a full sized keyboard is referred to as the "soft delete" key. The Delete key with the symbol on it in the navigation keys section of a full sized keyboard is often referred to as the "hard delete" key.
Since Apple keyboards don't have a key labeled "backspace", in my classes I always refer to them at the soft and hard delete keys. Mac portables and Apple's bluetooth keyboards do not have the hard delete key at all. But the Shift modifier with the soft delete does the same thing as the hard delete key does.
