How to save project on both computer and external hard drive? Hi, you can have for ex. Carbon Copy Cloner backup/ sync to that location, and have it unmount the disc Wien doen. Forget the disk images until then, they'll only cause you unnecessary grief. And NEVER do this on your system drive at all.
