Hi guys,

I've just shoot an apple day in a lovely Somerset orchard but the conditions were really flat and misty.

Can anybody recommend a good plug in or give me any tips on how to warm things up a little. I realize adding a little yellow will do this but I'm after a slightly golden, warm 70s feel for the film.

Any tips or plug in guys ?

thanks for any help

Neil

You could luma key a lot of the sky out. Then track the camera movement in AE or other. Add in a sky image. colour correct from there.

increasing contrast and saturation and adding a blue sky helps

the tricky part is for sure the masking - but doing some rotoshapes is ofter quicker than you think and looking for some wonder-plugin

CoreMelt Sky Replace takes care of the sky, and color board takes care of the washed out, dull subjects.

Disclosure: I create tutorials for CoreMelt.

Gradients and image mask overlays work really well with skies, too, allowing for some very creative options.

And, I absolutely LOVE Coremelt stuff, that sky fixer thingy there, that's some good plugin stuff!
