Controls for contrast - Low & High and RGB Shadows, Mids and Highs, which you can turn off.
I tested this against the Pomfort plug-in and the default settings were the best match visually and on the scopes. Also a pretty close match with LUT Buddy loading the Technicolor supplied LUT into AE.
Setting to high contrast with the RGB controls turned off may produce better results on some footage.
Will depend on how you've exposed.
To use it like a LUT add it to an adjustment layer (text-less title) and stretch that out along your timeline. Grade your clips with the color board or by adding other effects to the actual clip.
If necessary for your workflow you can use it like a viewer LUT in Nuke and turn it off for export by disabling the adjustment layer (select then press V)
Can't vouch for the technical accuracy. I'm hoping LUT Buddy is available for Motion 5 shortly.
First off, thanks for making this! It has been a solution i have been looking for for awhile. I have looked into the alternatives and couldn't justify purchasing them.
I had to comment on this and thank you.
I have been using this for footage shot with modified neutral and marvel cine, and it works great. The settings need to be rolled back quite a bit, but I understand it was designed for the technicolor setting, which is superflat. Im working on 2 projects at the moment that Im using this for getting a final look. I am still color correcting as normal, but throwing this on the clips after balancing, is awesome! especially helping the noise in shadows a lot.
so, thanks for all the hard work and making this available!
