Hi,

I'm looking to update my laptop which I'll be using as a back-up edit machine so I'm not looking to spend much (or have the option to). My question is this,

13" with 128GB 16gb ram

or

13" with 256GB 8gb ram

As my budget is restricted to those options at the moment can someone let me know if 128GB is enough for FCPX and Adobe Suite and general use (emails, web, etc) - all footage will be external drives.

I know I should get more if possible but it's a backup machine - I just want to know that it's a workable solution.

Thanks

Bobby

More RAM will help if the smaller system drive is sufficient.
