CalDigit announce the new 3 drive bay T3 drive and a Thunderbolt Station

More new drives and more flexibility at NAB 2013. CalDigit announce their new SSD/HDD mix and match 3 bay T3 drive and a new Thunderbolt expansion station.

The CalDigit T3 is a three bay Thunderbolt drive that can be populated by SSD's or HDD's. You can also mix and match and mount the drives individually. One example of this would be to keep regularly accessed files on an SSD and then an HDD for larger files. For applications that require high performance drives, the T3 configured in RAID 0 can deliver up to 500 MB/s when configured with HDDs or 800 MB/s with SSDs. The unit has two Thunderbolt ports for pass through to other peripherals or daisy chaining of drives. Prices start from $699 for the 6TB HDD to $1,100 for the 12TB HDD version.

The CalDigit Thunderbolt Station adds USB 3.0, Audio In & Out, HDMI, and Ethernet connectivity to your Mac via dual Thunderbolt ports. It's priced at $199 and might help should you, like us fill use every connector on a MacBook Pro Retina!
