Denver Riddle's tutorials on color correcting in Final Cut Pro X are some of the best. Now he's turned his talents to producing tutorials for Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve.

First of all, if you've never come across Denver's free FCPX colour grading tutorials on Color Grading Central then please check them out. They are still some of the best out there and show a high level of professionalism some tutorials sadly lack.

He's now moved his attention to DaVinci Resolve, which he quite rightly says has filled the void that Apple's Color left when we went from seven to ten.

Unlike his FCPX videos, you'll have to subscribe to watch, he's offering a deal of $100 off for a week bringing the price down for a six month membership from $247 to $147. You'll also get two new tutorial videos a month. This is a pretty smart move as it means Denver can react to new features, techniques or even replicating new popular looks.

"This is the unique product offering of a Color Grading Central membership. Training for the world famous DaVinci Resolve will be available online 24 hours a day so that there’s no need to wait for a box set of DVD’s to ship or to spend an exorbitant amount of money to receive live training somewhere where one has to travel.

Topics that are covered with the DaVinci Resolve tutorials are basic conforming and primary color correction skills, secondary and isolated correction skills all the way to advanced topics on the creation of popular and stylized looks. Regardless of current skill ability there’s something for everyone with a Color Grading Central membership."

We particularly like the live panel shots in the tutorials, we've always wondered what a colorist did all day with with those three balls! Quality tutorials from Denver and if you want to increase your Resolve skills, whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced colorist then we are sure these videos will help.
