In this week's episode of MacBreak Studio we go back to basics, but with a twist. Learn how to replace media when you want to match action in the middle of a clip.
There are some features in FCP7 that haven't made it over to FCPX yet. Replace at the playhead is one of them and in this new episode of MacBreak Studio, Steve Martin shows Mark Spencer a nifty workaround. It might not be one click, but it's a lot faster than having to slip a clip in increments to get the timing right.
As Steve pleads on the show, we do hope that Apple bring this functionality over to FCPX. Whilst we rant, being able to start a transition at the beginning, end or custom position on clips would be good too!
