Ripple multicam FCPX training

Ripple Training has just released their new version of Mastering Multicam Editing in FCPX. The tutorial is now on its third edition. Brand new lessons for 10.1, new downloadable examples and all the info on the latest techniques for $39.99.

Ask any editor to pick out one feature in Final Cut Pro X that it really excels at and it's likely to be Multicam. No doubt about it, FCPX has one of the most feature rich and easiest to use multicam editing abilities of any NLE out there.

But there's a lot more to know than just lassoing up a bunch of clips, synchronising and cutting away.

So it's good to see Ripple Training releasing Multicam Editing in FCP X, the third edition. Priced at $39.99 for the iTunes version, this tutorial runs through all the features of multicam editing in FCPX by using three example projects. There's also a $49.99 USB stick version from the Ripple Website.

'Mastering Multicam Editing in Final Cut Pro X is an immersive tutorial designed to teach you the fundamental skills of creating and editing multicam projects in Final Cut Pro X.  During the course of the tutorial you will learn how to properly prepare your media for import; if and when you should transcode your media; and how to organize your footage prior to editing. You'll also learn how to sync your footage; add and adjust angles in the Angle Editor, and employ useful shortcuts during the edit. Lastly, you'll learn how to adjust the timing of your edits, work with audio and add titles to your multicam projects.'

It's not for the complete beginner though, it assumes you have the basic knowledge of the interface and you're happy working with Libraries.

Mark and Steve have published a few sample videos so that you can see the level of knowledge you'll be getting. After you've purchased the course, you can follow along with the tutorials by downloading the media used in all of the three examples.
