… spending too much time watching YouTube these days … but found this gem of "FC vs AP", I obviously missed a year ago:
Influencers iJustine in a competition with LinusTechTips, who creates 'better' in 4h?

lots of tongue in cheek, plain fun, no senseless fighting, and a result which fits to the overall topic of this board....
sidenote: the PC/Premiere set-up looks … cluttered to me, prefer Justine's clean-desk approach ;)
25min of entertainment …

now counting minutes, arc will 'contradict' me SCNR

That was interesting. However -- their total source material was 91 clips. For FCPX, essentially no use of the Event Browser, keywording or filtering was portrayed. It was NLE vs NLE, solely in timeline editing.

For very small projects (esp. where there is a script) you can sometimes side-step the organizational phase and go straight to the timeline.

For larger real-world projects if the material is not organized and classified, this negatively impacts delivery or quality or both.

It would be interesting to see a realistic-size documentary composed of several thousand clips and the difference between skimming and tagging that in FCPX vs Premiere, and how that affects delivery time of the final product.

.

yes without comparing the uge and devastating superiority of FcpX in terms of anything in Browser, (+ Timeline index and so) over any editing solution it doesn't make much sense
