I often see Sync'n Link (link to appstore) in demoes of syncing clips in FCPx using timecode.

Can someone please tell me what Sync'n Link does (better) than the already built in timecode sync of FCPX 10.3 ?

As I understand it Sync 'n' Link will batch sync whereas FCPX is one clip,at a time. It can make multicam clips in addition to synchronised clips and it can add script notes, in CSV form, as metadata nots to the resulting clips. It needs timecode to tie everything together.
