So I know you can click the two monitor button in the top righthand corner to make the screen appear on your other monitor. However, sometimes when color matching I want to be able to look at a still frame of another clip. What would be the best way to do that?

I was thinking if final cut let us have a floating screen I could make it about half the size of my 2nd monitor then have a Still frame open in Preview of the still Frame I want to use as reference. but to my knowledge FCP does not allow a floating screen window...

Can I put two screens with different still frames on the left while in comparison mode?

I think not. One screen for an image.
I guesss you can make a still or split screen with the two images you want together and then use that for comparison.
