I have been using ColorFinale from the beginning ten CF pro and really liked it and still use it, It has a nice structure and was a great enhancement then, but if you want something quite different, i would go for CinemaGrade also from color grading central.
CinemaGrade is more workflow centred and once installed is also available in DavinciResolve ... I also use Chromatic from Coremelt and that is a very well done software that I believe is slightly better than ColorFinale it has a few more tools and a Lift Gamma Gain " à la" DavinciResolve plus nice features.

Ditto. The current FCPX built-in tools are quite good, provided you learn how to use them effectively. This also avoids hand-off issues in a collaborative environment when other editors don't have that plugin or not the same version.
